Family Trips

Hi all :) I know, I know, I have kept you waiting for a long time!  Why?!!?? Do I always do this? ?!! Probably because I have a almost 9 month old baby and a husband and house and garden to take care of!  But please know that I really do try to keep you updated.

Anyway if you were wondering, I did have a great mothers day :), but I wanted to share with you my little trip to Kentucky for a family reunion.

Whenever I travel anywhere with Paul I usually bring a lot of extra things,  so I try to consume it when we go on trips,  except for the Arkansas one:) hehehe. But really I do try and I thought and did pretty well on this one!  Annnnd it was to go to Kentucky with the family.  Paul really liked the hotel,  which I thought was funny,  but he did! He even saw his first lake and a lot of his family.  Of course since Paul ix is the most beautiful baby ever, everyone wanted to keep him!

We were able to visit our families and even got in the pool, it was too cold( Brrrrrrr) but Paul loved it.

Overall we had a great but short time and I know we will go back,  so if you are worried about traveling with a baby my advise isssss....you can do it!! Just enjoy it and not stress:) easier said than done.

Have you had any crazy trips? I know mine will come.

Mothers Day Project

CAN I SAY my HUSBAND is da man???!!!! Shew!! We had such a good and fun filled "mothers day project" day doing the things that I wanted done for my official official mothers day coming up!  [Blog to follow I am sure] any way back to Darrel, he worked really hard getting things done.  Of course he works hard all the time so it's nothing new but I appreciate what he did today, because I am sure he would have rather rested.

As you all know, I loooooove gardens and all flowers, even th though I have a few that are my favorite.  I wanted the gardens to be cleaned out so I could work in them and enjoy them.  Buuuuuut I remembered that our garden wasn't too baby friendly and so did Darrel!  You may remember what the back use  to look like, but we completely redone it and done new things,  ( pics soon to follow) but I do have some of the front and I am very happy about it!  I am so thankful for the man and child God put in my life! !

Hope you all enjoyed your Saturday!

My Baby's First Easter

Hi all!

I hope you all had a great Resurection Sunday,I know I sure did! I was able to enjoy and celebrate the Lords return with most of all my family, and it was my baby boys first one! Of course Paul does not know what's going on, but I really wanted him to know what "Easter" is all about! So I tell him and show him pictures and mostly he wants to put the things in his mouth! Haha

Now I know he's not fully understanding but if we plant seeds when they are young they will understand more when they are older. This is an important time of celebration and love of our God and I want Paul to know this. PLUS it's fun to do those things anyway!!

What all did you do for Easter?

And here's a picture of the most adorbs baby eva!!!!

Simple Life

It is the simple things in life I enjoy the most I think! Don't you? Such as Easter surprises from your best friend, enjoying fresh spring air while doing morning yoga { stretches }. Maybe fresh blooms on flowers, or having your niece pick dandelions ;) other things I enjoy are sitting by the pond watching the ducks with my baby, waiting on his daddy { my sweetie} to come home!
Or maybe it's just all the "first" in life that we really love?! Unless you are like me, simple things just aren't as lovely....

Oh..I also love blogging to you all *wisper*

Oh Happy Day!

*sigh*
Today was ANOTHER wonderful day! Of course it was Palm Sunday (the day Jesus came into Jerusalem which is amazing :) ) but our church has a pot luck and an egg hunt! And DUH I was excited for Paul to get me CANDY!! Hahaha ;) no, really I was excited for him to have his first egg hunt! { see pic below }
 Hehehe ain't he so cute!!
He had such a good time and it brought me such joy to see him have fun in the grass playing! :) Did I mention it was gorgeous {windy } out?! But I'm sure you all knew that!

Well besides egg hunt/ yummy pot luck at church my dad turned 65 today{crazy} and we had a surprise party for him. I think he had a great time as well as we all did. AND it was Paul's first time at the fire station!
Paul loved the trucks, but he was getting tired, a lot of fun for a little guy!

Needless to say so am I! But I wanted to share with you all my other lovely day! Can't wait to share more!!

Rainy Days

Hello there my friends! !

Once again it has been a while. ..... I have had computer problems again!!!! Butttt now I think we are better!  I was able to get an awesome tablet and now I can blog better ;)

Anyway it is a rainy day here ,but that's spring for yah! { and it's good for business}  so I shouldn't complain,  but I love the SUN too much :) annnnnd let me tell you, I am sooo ready to garden! { yay!!}  I am hoping to plant more vegetables as well!

Does anyone else feel great after gardening or planting something and watching it grow?  It feels wonderful to me,  and as much as I hate the rain, I really need it in order for my plants to grow.

It also reminds me of our lives,  in order to grow we have to endure hardships.  God wants us to lean on Him whenever we feel like we can't and when we feel like we can! And if we grow in God and in faith we can be more beautiful than any flower.

So even though the rain isn't our favorite all the time.  Find something enjoyable and grow in it!

What's everyone planting this year?

Oops the tea is done!  Id love to hear from you all.
